Photos, updates and dignity.

Photos are only included in a family update where Mum or Dad is comfortable and has given consent. Photos are never required as proof of care — an update stands on its own without them.

If a photo would include anyone else — a neighbour, a friend, a member of staff — we ask them too, or we don't take it.

Your parents can change their mind at any point, for any reason or none, and we'll stop. They don't need to explain it, and it won't affect the rest of their service.

Family updates are shared only with the family members nominated by the customer. Nobody else receives them. Ask us any time to add or remove someone.

Your parents can ask that specific information not be included in an update — a conversation, a worry, something personal. We'll respect that.

The exception is anything that suggests a genuine risk to their safety or wellbeing. In that case we'll tell them we need to pass it on, and then we'll pass it on.
